Review:

Recently enjoyed it's ten year aniversary and a welcome revival. The soundtrack is a classic - it won the film its only Oscar©. It's the fifties, and Baby (Grey) goes to a typical American holiday camp with her family for he summer. Whilst there, she meets Jonny (Swayze), the dancing instructor who has a passion for dirty dancing. Baby persuades a reluctant Jonny to teach her to dance dirty so that she can dance with him in an important performance at a local club. Whilst teaching her the sassy moves, he falls in love with her but doesn't realise her real feelings for him. Will they live happily ever after?
We never actually find out, but they dance into the night, which leaves me satisfied. An excellent film, with an even better soundtrack. If only she wasn't called Baby!
