Review:

Pretty Woman is certainly a film to remember. It contains a unique love story and some memorable moments such as when we see Julia dressed in her first expensive gown and when we see her poke fun at the assistants that had previously laughed at her.

It starts with a young prostitute and her friend waiting for customers; they spot Richard Gere () and Julia heads for him. He drives her to his penthouse and decides to rent her for a whole week as an escort. Ultimately they fall in love but Julia still feels like a prostitue, especially in others eyes. However, (RG) tells her he loves her and we are left with an ambiguous ending.

The film is sparky in places, and has a great story to it. There are some classic moments and the soundtrack is good too. The vibe of the film is a feelgood film - people always getting one step ahead of people they are laughed at by or shunned by.

A Great Film!
